1. Description

Berberine is an alkaloid (an organic substance of plant origin that has a powerful therapeutic action) that can be extracted from several different plants, including a group of shrubs called Berberis. We use the berries of Berberis aristata which are native to Nepal and the foothills of the Himalayas in India.

Fenioux Laboratories have chosen a stable and pure berberine of 100% plant origin, without excipients or additives from Berberis Aristata which grows in unpolluted regions and therefore free from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The capsules are vegetable (pullulan).

From 500 mg, numerous studies reveal the effectiveness of berberine in the metabolic field because it activates the central metabolic enzyme AMPK (adenosine monophosphate activated protein kinase) which allows:

• Reduction of blood sugar.

• Reduction of cholesterol.

• Reduction of triglycerides.

• An impact on obesity.

For all these actions, berberine is therefore particularly relevant to fight against metabolic syndrome.

2 capsules per day during meals
