1.    Description

Bromelain is a proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzyme extracted from the stem of pineapple (Ananascomosus ). It can be used after surgery, bruising or edema to help damaged tissue heal and repair itself. It can also be used to thin bronchial secretions and reduce congestion of the respiratory tract.

Following several studies conducted in Europe, the German Health Commission has approved the use of bromelain to treat post-operative and post-traumatic edema. It helps reduce inflammation caused by surgery (plastic, dental, nasal sinuses, oral, episiotomy, cataract), hematomas & bruises caused by violent shocks. It relieves pain and accelerates wound healing. Extrazymne® has enhanced bioavailability thanks to the acid-resistant capsule (DR-caps®), which protects bromelain from gastric juices. Its bioactivity is thus reinforced.

2. Directions for use

2 capsules per day: 1 capsule morning and evening with a large glass of water half an hour before meals if possible.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
