1. Description

Vitamin K2-D3 Concept is a synergistic combination of vitamin K2 Mk7 (MenaQ7) and vitamin D3. Vitamin K2-D3 Concept comes in the form of oily capsules (olive oil), making it more easily assimilated and more effective. Because K2 is not very stable, it oxidises very quickly on contact with air, for example in liquid bottles where K2 is taken in drops.

These two naturally-occurring fat-soluble vitamins work together to help maintain normal bone structure, normal coagulation, good cardiovascular health and improved immune defences. For Vitamin K2, we use the Mk7 (menaquinone 7) form, which is a patented natural vitamin K2: MenaQ7 is free from solvents, allergens and soya, but is especially easily assimilated.

Vitamin K2 is the vitamin that enables calcium to bind in the bones, where it is needed, and not in the walls of blood vessels or heart tissue. Vitamin K2 reduces calcification of the arteries.  This formula contains only vitamin K2 and no vitamin K1. Vitamin K2 does not affect blood clotting, unlike vitamin K1, which activates it (increased risk of thrombosis). Vitamin D3 is derived from lanolin, a natural substance found in sheep's wool. Vitamin D not only helps maintain normal bone structure, it also helps maintain normal blood calcium levels, effectively combating osteoporosis. It also contributes to the functioning of the immune system.

2. Directions for use

One capsule a day for adults with a glass of water. For children and teenagers, prefer the single-dose version of vitamin K2, containing 100 µg (available Sept. 2021). There is also single-dose vitamin D3 containing 400 IU (baby) or 3000 IU (from age 11), available in drops or capsules.

A dietary supplement should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep away from light and heat. Consult a health professional if taking a treatment containing vitamin D. For adults only.
