1.    Description

Lithotamne is a 2 cm red oceanic seaweed from Brittany (Archipel des Glénans), rich in minerals, vitamins, amino acids and trace elements (magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, selenium, iron). 

Lithotamne is a kind of "solid seawater concentrate". This sedimentary seaweed is particularly rich in calcium carbonate (30%), a basic calcium salt.

All these minerals contribute to a better acid-base balance in the body. Acidification of the body is one of the major causes of demineralization, causing osteoporosis. All Fenioux products beginning with "litho" in their names contain lithotamne. It is used to improve the assimilation of other ingredients by the body.
