1.    Description

 

Also known as ubiquinone because it is present in all the body's cells, coenzyme Q10 is essential for energy production (releasing energy that can be used by the cell in the form of ATP). Coenzyme Q10 is also an important antioxidant that protects the body from oxidative stress linked to the production of free radicals.

 

Taking certain cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins) reduces the synthesis of coenzyme Q10, leading to fatigue and muscle weakness. In addition, its synthesis by the body decreases with age and as a result of various factors such as stress, extreme physical effort, increased alcohol consumption and infections.  For some people, supplementation is therefore essential.

This formula combines coenzyme Q10 with linseed oil, which contains alpha-linolenic acid, helping to maintain normal cholesterol levels and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease (regulates blood lipids, improves blood circulation, protects the vessels and heart and lowers blood pressure).

 

Flaxseed oil is a source of alpha-linolenic acid, which is itself a precursor of all the molecules in the omega-3 family, such as EPA and DHA, which also slow down the body's general inflammatory processes.

 

Coenzyme Q10 is in the form of ubiquinone (a form that is stable in the manufacturing process and highly absorbable by the body).

2. Directions for use

1 to 2 capsules a day with a glass of water.
