Laboratoires Fenioux have created a 3rd formula of their flagship dietary supplement: StatiConcept®N°3®. The red yeast rice present in the 2nd versions is replaced here by aged black garlic for people intolerant to statins. StaticonceptN°3 contains aged black garlic and hydroxytyrosol (olive extract). Various studies have demonstrated the health benefits of aged black garlic: it is believed to lower bad cholesterol (LDL). Supplementation with aged black garlic extract has beneficial effects on the lipid profile and blood pressure in patients with excess cholesterol. It is useful in preventing excess cholesterol and other lipids in the blood leading to the formation of plaque on artery walls. Aged black garlic is obtained from the garlic bulb through a rigorous ageing process.
The garlic (Allium sativum) is placed in an oven for 30 days at 70°C and 90% humidity. During this process, the garlic changes colour from white to yellow to black. This process breaks down the alliin and allicin naturally present in garlic, which cause gastric reflux and odour on the skin. This ageing process converts the substances present in fresh garlic, including allicin, into more stable sulphur derivatives: S-allyl-cysteine. This extract prevents the oxidation of cholesterol and therefore the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. Hydroxytyrosol (Olive extract) reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) and prevents the formation of atherosclerotic plaque.

2. Directions for use
2 capsules a day. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 20 g per day. A dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 20g of olive oil a day. Not recommended for people taking anticoagulants.
