1. Description

Konjac is a plant originating from South-East Asia. Its secret: it swells in the stomach thanks to its high content of glucomannans, a soluble fiber that turns into gel when it comes into contact with water.

Glucomannan is a high molecular weight polysaccharide with the highest viscosity of any known water-soluble fibers. It can absorb up to 100 times its volume of water. Taken before meals with water, these fibers bind to water in the stomach and intestine to form a viscous mass that slows the absorption of sugars and inhibits the reabsorption of intestinal cholesterol excreted by the liver.

Clinical studies have shown that consuming just 3g of this fiber before a meal could significantly reduce the number of calories absorbed and the insulin peak thanks to the decrease in carbohydrate absorption. It also induces a feeling of fullness, by reducing the level of ghrelin, a hormone that controls appetite.

2. Directions for use

3 capsules to take with a full glass of water, 30 minutes before meals.

The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 3g of glucomannan daily in three doses of 1g each, taken with 1 to 2 glasses of water, before meals and as part of a low-calorie diet.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
